I am Hanli Smit - a photographer, artist, and designer - and my work lives at the intersection of all three. My creative journey has been shaped by a deep love for beauty in all its forms: the human body, the natural world, texture, light, and emotion.

My style leans into fantasy and bohemian storytelling, where softness meets strength and authenticity becomes art. I create images that feel both dreamlike and deeply personal - portraits that do not just show how you look, but reflect who you are.

Working from the inspiring surroundings of Marloth Park, on the edge of the Kruger National Park, I draw constant inspiration from nature. The untamed landscape, golden light, and quiet presence of wildlife all influence the mood and depth of my work.

I am especially passionate about creating a safe, empowering space for every person I photograph. Whether you are stepping in front of the camera for the first time or rediscovering yourself, I will guide you gently and intuitively through the process.

In addition to photography, my background in fashion design allows me to incorporate carefully curated wardrobe elements into my shoots. Every photograph I create is a collaboration - a moment where your story and my vision meet.
